The research group LAELA (Applied Linguistics to the Teaching of the English Language) was created in 1999.

All members are part of the English Studies Department at Universitat Jaume I in Castelló de la Plana (Spain). Their research interests are on Applied linguistics, more specifically on the teaching and learning of English as a Foreign, Second and Third Language.
