This research project deals with pragmatic development in early multilingualism and third language learners of English. More specifically, we are examining the effect of (i) classroom discourse, (ii) language attitudes and (ii) out-of-school factors in multilingual learners pragmatic development. Our focus is multilingual as we take into account all learners’ languages as well as the existing interaction among them and the connection between the previously mentioned variables.
