Bethany Aull is a visiting lecturer in the Translation and Communication department at the Universitat Jaume I in Spain. She holds a PhD from the University of Seville in English language studies, focusing in pragmatics. She is part of the LAELA (Applied Linguistics to the Teaching of the English Language) Research Group and related projects. She has also been part of the Intercultural Pragmatics Studies (English-Spanish): Pragmatic and Discourse Issues Research Group and the organizing committee of the international EPICS conferences in Seville since 2017. Her research interests include pragmatics, intercultural communication, foreign language teaching, and digital communication.
