Ignacio Martinez Buffa holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Universitat Jaume I. He also has two master’s degrees in Language Teaching and Multilingualism. He is part of the LAELA Research Group and collaborates in numerous research projects. Ignacio’s research interests include: multilingualism and multilingual education, engagement, pragmatic competence and awareness, and collaborative practices in the language classroom. Ignacio has presented his research in numerous international conferences such as IPrA and IAM L3, and published in international editorials, such as Dykinson, and prestigious journals, such as Language Awareness. Apart from his teaching tasks in Universitat Jaume I, he actively collaborates with other universities as a part-time professor and director of master’s theses.
